Hello. I am Neil Granger, Head of the Department of Molecular and Cellular Physiology at LSU Medical Center in Shreveport. The Department of Molecular and Cellular Physiology is committed to the advancement and dissemination of knowledge in the physiological sciences through the support of basic research and the training of new biomedical scientists. The department has a strong commitment to the continued development and expansion of interactive research programs that are nationally and internationally competitive. This emphasis on maintaining a high reputation for research excellence serves to ensure a stimulating and nurturing environment for producing the next generation of well-trained and highly competitive biomedical scientists. Our integrative approach allows for an in-depth understanding of relevant biomedical issues of clinical importance at the molecular, cellular, organ and whole body level.
