The Department of Molecular and Cellular Physiology's graduate program has many goals. The primary goal is to offer instructional and practical training to all students so they are fully prepared for successful careers in scientific research and teaching. In order to do this, students are provided with opportunities to attend numerous conferences, meetings and workshops that will enhance their training. Graduate students are often recognized for their research projects at such events.

Our graduate students also have opportunities to contribute to research papers that are often published in leading scientific journals.

Awards and Recognition

Kimberly Zeno, graduate student, will serve as the departmental Graduate Student Council Representative for the 2008/09 academic year.
